Junior Soccer Frequently asked questions
Q: When does season start and finish?
The juniors season starts April 11th and finishes August 29th
Q: What day is training?
Your allocated coach will agree on training day and communicate this to prior to the start of the season.
Q: Can my child play on the same team as their friends?
We encourage this and ask for parents to notify us when registering their child. Depending on numbers, we look to allocate teams made up of players as requested.
Q: How much is registration and what does it include?
Early Bird Registration between 5th January to 15th Febrary is $190 per player and includes a team jersey and a football. From the 16th February, fees are $210 per player.
Shorts and socks are available for purchase for $30.
Please note that along with sponsorships and canteen sales, registration fees contribute to:
- Football South Coast fee per player
- Football NSW fee per player
- Football Federation Australia fee per player
- Player and Club Insurance
- Trophies
- Uniform design and production
- Playing and training equipment
- Maintenance and upgrades of grounds and club facilities
- Referee payments
Q: Are the coaches trained, and do they have their Working with Children check?
In 2026 we are planning to invest in coach training, so they are well supported to help your kids and the team. All coaches working with U18s have their WWC check verified.
Q: What are the expectations of parents?
We know it can be busy to get kids to training and games, so please let us know if you need support from us or other parents. The Corrimal Rangers Football Club is run by volunteers, and we would be so appreciate of your support for the club. We have a canteen/ bbq running that raise vital funds for the club, and often need 2-3 parents from each team to share that. Our junior coaches are often parents of the players, if you are interested in coaching, please have a chat with us! And finally, if you can support in any other way, from the mowing roster, administrative tasks, or simply becoming a member (it’s only $10 to join!), it would be great to hear from you! Download the new member form.
Registrations open from the 5th January 2026.
